The task
The company needed branded packaging for corporate gifts: an exact match of the corporate colour, a premium look and secure fixation of the items inside. The run — 200 units: a typical corporate order, where packaging is needed in a small series but in flawless quality.
The construction
The chest-style box with a hinged lid is assembled from two parts, and the insert is formed from the base blank itself: a platform with two round seats and compartments holds each item of the set separately. The walls are double — the box carries the brand colour both outside and inside, and the inner side of the lid features a decorative embossed frame. The cutting die was made individually for this project; Pergament clients also have access to a library of over 3,000 existing die-cut forms — a box can often be launched with no die development costs at all.
Design and finishing
The entire design is built on two elements: deep green and gold. The box is offset-printed in a single spot colour — the brand’s Pantone 7733, matched against a reference sample — and sealed with matt lamination, which protects the dark solid and gives a velvety texture. The gold is applied by hot foil stamping: the logo on the lid and a message on its inner side, revealed to the recipient at the moment of opening. Matt green and mirror-like gold — a contrast that reads as premium both to the eye and to the touch.
Why is a box with a fitted insert the right format for corporate gifts?
Such packaging is part of the gift itself: it protects the contents in transit, presents the set on opening and stays with the recipient — a sturdy foil-stamped box is not thrown away, and it keeps working for the brand long after the contents are gone. The format suits sets with bottles, glasses, candles, cosmetics and branded merchandise.
