Heart-shaped gift box with a microflute insert — Pergament

A heart-shaped box is figured gift packaging whose outer contour follows the shape of a heart. Unlike a standard rectangular or square box, a custom-shaped construction requires an individual approach at every stage — from the dieline to the assembly.

The construction is composite: the box consists of four separate elements. The lid and the base are the outer parts that carry the printing and protective lamination, while the lid insert and the base insert are inner trays made of microflute — light corrugated board that holds the product securely in place.

Because the heart is a non-standard, figured shape, individual die-cutting tooling is produced for every element: the lid, the base and both inserts.

The outer parts are made of dense 290 g/m² cardboard that holds the shape and provides a quality base for printing. The printing is offset, in CMYK, with full-coverage ink across the entire dieline including the flaps — the box looks finished from every angle.

Most clients save money by choosing one of our 3,000+ ready-made cutting dies — but when the product deserves a signature shape, we engineer the construction from scratch, as in this project. Want packaging in a shape of your own? A prototype of your box — in 30 minutes.
